MATHLIB
is a Fortran callable library containing routines
of a mathematical nature. It is made up of four components,
namely
-
BVSL - basic vector subroutine library. These routines
were originally written for the IBM 3090 vector facility.
However, a Fortran version is now available.
-
GEN - general mathematical routines.
-
LAPACK - the well-known linear algebra package.
-
MPA - multiple precision floating point arithmetic routines.
Note that LAPACK and MPA may only be distributed in object form
by CERN. Further details can be found in section
and .
